Home brewery FloRik in Wechelderzande has launched a new beer, Tripel Heymans, in honour of the late painter Adriaan Jozef Heymans. With this Strong & Proud beer, they want to promote local art projects.
Besides Tripel Heymans, you can also visit home brewery FloRik for a Wechelaer, Dronkaerts or other seasonal craft beers.
Strijdersbier
The Hopperfly NPO had been brewing its own beers on an amateur basis for some time. Besides the interest in these beers, the association was also involved with some charities for quite some time, so they decided to combine the two pursuits.
The result van Strijdersbier (Warrior beer).Artisan beers are brewed and promoted, and all proceeds are donated to various charities.
Strijdersbier was placed on the market in collaboration with the brewery Florik from Wechelderzande to benefit the 'De Kleine Strijders' Foundation (The Little Warriors Foundation).
De Kleine Strijders Foundation helps projects in and around the hospital. These projects enrich the stay and care experience for little warriors and their loved ones.
Strijdersbier is a soft, amber-coloured beer brewed with five different malts and two types of hops.
