Walks by distance

Walking is the most accessible form of exercise. It can be done anytime and anywhere: at home, at work, during trips and leisure time. The benefits of walking have been amply proven. 10,000 steps a day, or 8,000 for over-65s, fundamentally improves health. However, we shouldn't worry too much about those numbers, because 10,000 steps are not immediately achievable for everyone. That's not a problem, what's important is to gradually take more exercise: every step counts! Every step taken is one in the right direction. Even small advances make a difference.

To get you started, we've listed the number of steps for each of our walks. We hope this helps you manage those 10,000 steps, or even more.
